CHANEL REINCARNATION

Finalmente è uscito il video integrale di "Reincarnation" il film di Karl Lagerfeld che illustra la nascita della giacca chanel . Come gia detto nello scorso post i protagonisti sono stati  Pharrell Williams, amico della Maison ed amico personale dello stilista. , infatti, non solo ha scritto parole e musica di "CC The World", la colonna sonora originale di "Reincarnation", ma ha pure interpretato uno dei ruoli principali: egli è, insieme a Cara Delevingne, il volto della prossima campagna per la collezione Métiers d'Art Paris-Salzburg 2014 2015. Lagerfeld  per questo nuovo episondio della vita di Gabrielle Chanel, ha immaginato con Geraldine Chaplin e Pharrell Williams come protagonisti siamo nel 1954: Gabrielle Chanel è in vacanza nei pressi di Salisburgo quando incontra un giovane addetto all'ascensore che indossa una giacca. A questa si ispirerà più tardi la famosa giacca Chanel.

"Era il momento di mostrare le origini della giacca Chanel, ispirata a quella indossata dall’addetto all'ascensore di un hotel nei pressi di Salisburgo negli anni Cinquanta (…) "Reincarnation" è la storia della giacca di un addetto all’ascensore, reincarnata in un capo senza tempo della moda femminile", ha dichiarato Karl Lagerfeld.

Karl Lagerfeld continua: "Nulla di tutto ciò sarebbe stato possibile senza Pharrell Williams, Cara Delevingne e Geraldine Chaplin. È il cast perfetto. Pharrell è un genio e Geraldine ha dato il meglio nel ruolo di Gabrielle Chanel nell’anno del suo ritorno".
